Another dimension

When we move on from one relationship to another. The dynamic of the new relationship is always affected by the relationships past.

Watching something from the Australian Psychology Society about step parents, I realise the many dimensions of relationships, in particular mine!
Enter New Relationship:
> With someone who doesnโ€™t have children of their own
> I have 2 children
> I have a previous marriage
> All my relationships past are with the opposite sex
> All her past relationships are with women
Right there, that last point, is a new dimension to the complexity!
This brings to light the obvious and stereotypical differences between the relationship between a man and a woman and the relationship between 2 women.
Now no 2 relationships will ever be the same and neither any 2 dynamics. But what we takeaway from relationships past and how they effect the next or new relationship is the test.
The baggage of the relationships past - or ghosts of relations past is often a hurdle we are not so equipped or trained to jump.
